Affair to remember: 17 November is the most popular day to cheat, survey reveals
You know you are curious to know why.
Did you know that Friday November 17 is 'Unfaithful Friday' ?
According to a report by the Metro it is and new research explains why.
IlllicitEncounters.com conducted a survey which included over 500 adulterers and found close to 80% of them have plans to have a quick get away with their extramarital partner on that day, the report revealed.
The findings suggest it is the last chance the lovers have before the festive season begins.
The married-dating website revealed that it is their busiest time of the year. Their traffic in the last few days has increased by 30% compared to any other week in November and December of 2016.
"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. The thoughtful gift you appreciate but in your heart of hearts don’t honestly like. Stuffing your face full of turkey. It’s Christmas, and for an adulterer, that spells trouble, the site’s spokesperson, Christian Grant told the Metro.
Adding, "From Christmas shopping to nativity plays to seeing the in-laws, Christmas is undoubtedly the biggest stumbling block for anyone seeing their mistress or histress."
So if something smells a bit fishy in the next few days, you might want to investigate that.
