Men who like being the 'little spoon' make for better partners, expert reveals
They tend to have more attractive personality traits.
An expert reveals men who like to be spooned have attractive personality traits, The Sun reported.
"Men that prefer to be the 'little spoon' are more likely to be submissive, sensitive, pleasing and in touch with their feminine side, psychoanalyst Steve McKeown told The Sun.
He can also be more compassionate, more emotionally intelligent and be able to compromise more often than other men. "Sensitivity is a very important trait as relationships tend to be complicated and can be problematic in today's stress-driven society," McKeown explained.
"The spoon position demonstrates a dynamic in which one partner takes a protective stance over the other. It's a vulnerable position that says 'I trust you'," McKeown further goes on to explain. Adding, " Times have changed as women are now somewhat freer to assert their dominance in all aspects of life."
