Yerrannaidu's son to tie the knot
Three decades of friendship between the Bandaru and Kinjarapu families will soon be sealed by marriage.
Kinjarapu family scion and Srikakulam MP, 28-year-old K. Rammohan Naidu will soon be tying the knot with Sri Sravya, the youngest daughter of former minister and TD state vice-president, Pendurthy MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy.
The wedding is expected to be held in May or June and the engagement has been fixed for December 23 when the Bandaru family visits Naidu’s residence at Nimmada in Srikakulam district.
The US-educated Rammohan Naidu entered politics at a very young age following the untimely death of his father, Yerrannaidu, in a road accident on November 2012. Rammohan took over his father’s legacy and now represents the Srikakulam parliamentary constituency.
Bride-to-be Sri Sravya completed her BTech in Electronics and Communications last year. Both the Bandaru and Kinjarapu families are known to each other for the last 30 years.
Confirming the wedding, Bandaru Satyanarayana said, “Both our families have known each other for the past 30 years. I’m very happy that Rammohan Naidu will be my son-in-law. His father and I were very close friends and entered politics around the same time. I’m very happy that family friends will now turn close relatives. I have seen Rammohan Naidu and know him since his childhood. We will shortly announce both the engagement and wedding dates.”
Murthy is a happy man as his elder daughter, Hashini, who did her medicine in Bangalore is also getting married to Chukka Vinay, an IT professional working in the US. Murthy’s elder daughter’s marriage will be held on February 16. Vinay is the son of retired deputy chief engineer of Panchayat Raj department, Chukka Chinna Babu. “I’m happy that both the families are known to me since long and I have had an association with them for many years,” added Murthy.
