Grindr's new video poetry feature aims to address sexuality
The app has asked poet Max Wallis to start with the first video series about relationships and sex
Writing is for many a way to express their feelings and sex has been a part of poetry and music for a long time which makes it the perfect way for people to relate to it. The mobile dating app for gay people Grindr has introduced a new interesting feature involving poetry about sex and they have told famous youth poet Max Wallis to make a video poem for its users.
According to a report in the Guardian, Grindr has introduced a new feature that will flash videos on its app and also its new platform ‘Into’. The poems written by the poet will concentrate on subjects like relationships and the kind of relationships millennial’s are into these days along with a lot of sex in the videos. The videos will be directed by Ashley Joiner, documentary maker of Pride? about similar subjects.
The videos will play into threads while delving deeper into relationships between people. The first poem Remnants is about what people leave behind psychologically and physically after sex and will be out soon on the app for everybody to watch.
