Hawaii: The female orgasm has been a subject of immense curiosity for decades and has also driven studies and controversial debates over its origins and even the way it evolved.

For a large part of history women were not even aware of a female orgasm and most women till the 70s believed that it was a myth. Findings pointing out that most women feel their partner doesn’t care enough for their orgasm, and many even fake it, reflect a sad state of affairs.

While scientists and netizens keep arguing over the topic, a mysterious mushroom from Hawaii seems to be an object of everyone’s fancy, after it was claimed that it can do something most men don’t even prioritise.

The rare bright orange mushroom grows on volcanic slopes on the island and has gives immense pleasure to women to the extent of causing an orgasm, while it does the exact opposite to men according to the study.

The effects of the mushroom renamed “Phallus” were recorded in a study conducted on 36 men and women, and while the women experienced pleasure leading to an orgasm, men found the smell unbearably fowl.

Researchers further specify that women who do experience the level of pleasure from the mushroom have a functioning vomeronasal organ (VNO), while those without it won’t be able to stand the smell.
