Hackathon is Back!

It’s bigger, better and back! The second edition of Hackathon will take place on the 13th and 14th of July. The event aims to function as a platform for programmers, application developers and people with technical backgrounds to collaborate and code a unique solution. For those looking for an outlet for self-expression and creativity through technology, Hackathon is the right destination.

Participants are expected to form teams — of maximum five members — around an idea and try to code a solution based on Social, Mobile, IoT, Analytics, Big Data, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and/or mGovernance. The participants will be given 24 hours to bring their ideas into fruition by working with new technologies and bringing together tons of code. The ‘Integrated Startup Complex’ at Kalamassery is playing host for the event.

The first edition of the event held in 2016 had given birth to two startup companies and created ‘Intrapreuners’ in few of the Infopark companies. It is back in partnership with the ‘Kerala Startup Mission’ and ‘NASSCOM 10,000 Startups’. The winning team goes home with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 while the first runner-up and second runner-up will be awarded Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively.
