After being fed up by having to continuously explain that she was hearing-impaired, one young woman decided to get a tattoo that would put the question to rest once and for all.
Elisa Menzel, from Germany, got the icon of a muted sound button tattooed behind her left ear to indicate her partial deafness after she became exasperated telling people again and again about her disability, reports ABC News. She later posted a picture of herself sporting the tattoo on the website Imgur.
The image soon went viral with people around the world praising her for her ingenious idea. Her picture has now received more than 3 million views on that website alone.
