Watch: The pre-wedding shoot at Mysore Palace that got everyone talking
The Mysore Palace is a high-security zone where clicking pictures and shooting video is not allowed.
A pre-wedding video shot inside Mysore Palace has caused uproar as no one is permitted to click pictures or record video in the high security zone. It has been alleged that the pre-wedding shoot would have been impossible to conduct without the cooperation of the palace board officials.
The video, which has gone viral, shows the couple walking hand-in-hand and romantically posing near the colourful columns of the palace in striking ethnic outfits. Reportedly, the video shot at the Durbar Hall and Kalayan Mantap was supposed to be part of a pre-wedding package that will be played on LCD TVs in the reception hall at the couple’s wedding.
As the Mysore Palace Board authorities have banned cameras in the Durbar Hall and allow filming only during Dasara festivities after seeking prior permission from the Royal family and officials, the ease with which the couple managed to pull of the stunt has raised security concerns.
