While travelling we often come across weird passengers, however it only gets worst when you are travelling in an economy class of an airlines.

This passenger invented a whole new way of being awful at 35,000 feet and since then she has become popular all over the Internet.

Dante Ramos, a columnist for Boston Globe was traveling from Boston to Huston when he came across a passenger who was dangling her ponytail off her seat, over his partner's in-flight entertainment unit.

He tweeted a picture and over night it went viral all over the social media.

As you can see the picture, the woman was completely unaware of the situation and was busy on her phone.

"Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I'll assume she didn't realise that her, er, readjustment would affect anyone else," Ramos told Metro.co.uk.

Ramos waited for a while, then he clicked the picture and asked the woman to move her hair away.

"Without really looking up from her device, she brought her seatback forward, and the ponytail disappeared," Ramos told Metro.co.uk.

The picture has got over 10,300 retweets and over 9,800 likes.

A viewer on Twitter suggested Ramos “why don't you just cut it off? Trouble is, getting a pair of scissors on a plane tricky these days...”

While other wrote, “I've "mistakenly pulled" errant hair before. I'll do it again.”

Maybe next time when travelling, people should be a bit more aware about their surroundings.
