An Indonesian singer continued to carry on the show for a baffling 45 minutes even after a cobra bit her before she finally collapsed onstage and died. A shocking video has surfaced which shows how the venomous serpent attacked Irma Bule whilst she was performing in the village of Karawang, West Java before her final moments.

The 29-year-old singer was famous for using reptiles in her acts and believed that the king cobra at her show, called Rianti, had been de-fanged. Unfortunately, when the snake bit her thigh, venom spread fast into her bloodstream before a snake handler pulled it away.

However, Bule continued singing for a good 45 minutes before she began vomiting and having seizures. The singer – who had also used boa constrictors and pythons as props in her previous shows – had reportedly refused when she was offered an antidote, according to the Daily Mail.

She was later rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. One of the attendees of her final performance, Ferlando Octavion Azura, told a local website Irma had accidentally stepped on the snake’s tail in the middle of the second song which caused it to bite her in the thigh.
