Video: Woman has epic meltdown on New York subway after realising she's fat

A woman travelling by the New York subway had a dramatic episode in public after declaring that she was ‘fat’ out of the blue. The bizarre incident was captured on camera by a fellow commuter on the Manhattan-bound Q train.

The apparently distressed woman is seen removing her sweater and grabbing her belly in the clip. She swears loudly as she slaps the flesh on her stomach before standing up and shouting, “Oh my God…I am so fat!”

The video, which was first posted on YouTube, has been viewed more than 29,000 times and has become the subject of many cruel comments.
