Pune woman takes help from social media to get ATM security guard new bicycle
There's still hope left for humanity.
Contrary to what most people might assume, there’s still hope left for humanity. A group of complete strangers came together to help out a poor security guard thanks to a social media post by a concerned citizen. A few days ago, Pune resident Tanvi Jain spotted an ATM security guard desperately searching for his lost bicycle and decided to turn to social media to get him out of his misery.
Jain requested the people of the city to donate a spare cycle for the man in a post on her Facebook profile. She also wrote that if anyone from NIBM/Nyati/ Wanowrie or Kondwa had an extra cycle to donate then they could directly get in touch with her.
She was surprised by the overwhelming positive response from the community. Reportedly Jain even received more than 250-300 messages in her FB inbox from perfect strangers. Fortunately, the security guard ended up with a brand new bicycle in just three days and seems quite happy with his gift.
