Video: Nervous parents of Olympian give medal-worthy reaction
For these parents, simply watching their daughter's performance at the Rio Olympics 2016 was just too much to handle.
It’s not for nothing when people say that parenting is a tough job. The sweat, blood, and tears shed are even multiplied when your child is an athlete competing in the Olympics. Ask Lynn and Rick Raisman for whom simply watching their daughter’s performance at the Rio Olympics 2016 was just too much to handle.
Aly Raisman, who was performing on the uneven bars during the US women’s gymnastic team qualifying round on Sunday, had her parents on the edge of their seats during her entire routine. The Raismans were so emotionally involved while observing Aly’s moves that they not only clutched each other for moral support but also appeared to sway back and forth.
Fortunately, the 22-year-old gymnast succeeded in qualifying for the all-around final in the Olympics. A short video clip of her parents’ endearing antics has been watched widely on the internet and has managed to win many hearts.
