Video: Young girl jumps out of moving vehicle to escape carjacking

An 11-year-old girl escaped a carjacking by jumping out of the moving vehicle in Aurora, Illinois.

CCTV footage captured the incident that occurred at a gas station.

A 42-second-clip posted on Facebook by the Aurora Police Department shows the child opening the passenger door and making a break for it.

Meanwhile, her father can be seen jumping on top of the hood of a sedan that also drove away.

Luckily, both of them were unharmed and did not suffer any injuries.

The suspect was eventually caught and has been identified as 20-year-old Tyrelle L Pulley from Chicago.
