Youthful Vibes!
ANUNCIO', the annual fest of St Mary's College was a grand success, complete with entertainment, celebrations and fun.
Amidst the current season of numerous college fests, St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda held their yearly fest, ‘ANUNCIO’ — The Unorthodox Meet on Friday.
The fest, featuring competitions such as Radio ads, Filmkari, Patrika, Aavishkar, Logo making and Quiz, was conducted by the BBA students and faculty of the college.
With more than 400 participant registrations and over 1,000 students from different colleges on campus, the entire atmosphere was electric. The competitions were extremely creative with no restrictions of language or dress code. Students laughed and cheered as they were curious to know what would happen next.
We don’t believe in any kind of restriction as the participants are representing their colleges and they are smart enough to know what to speak and do

“Our college fest is an amalgamation of all the colleges. We don’t believe in any kind of restriction as the participants are representing their colleges and they are smart enough to know what to speak and do,” shares Anurita Das, a faculty of St. Mary’s.
The entire team of the 30-member organising committee apparently started planning for the fest around two months ago by doing a lot of leg work and inviting more than 60 colleges. Horoshni Komli, one of the students who attended the fest, shares, “There were more participants this time than before. I honestly don’t know how the judges decided as all the entries were very creative and lively. It was just so much fun to be around!”
Turns out the fest exuded a chilled out vibe while entertaining all the students present. “We didn’t want to call any chief guests or actors because they would steal the limelight. We wanted the students to take centrestage instead. And we prefer our first-year and second-year students to enthusiastically take part as they will be the ones to carry forward our culture,” says Suleman Khan and Nadia Mir (student organisers).
