Long serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs have become a common sight after the government announced its decision to demonitise Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes a few days ago. People have been spending hours standing in lines just so that they can be able to withdraw cash and exchange the now illegal currency notes.

Comedian Rohan Joshi also happened to be among the hundreds of hapless cash-strapped citizens outside a bank one Friday morning. It was then that he decided to live-tweet what folks were saying while waiting for their turn. From World War III predictions to gossip about Bollywood starts hoarding black money in their homes, Joshi sure heard a lot of interesting and amusing stuff out there.
