A Foodie's Paradise
The day-long event was nothing short of a dream come true for any foodie.
It is difficult to find people who don’t love food and indulge in it anywhere possible. Hyderabadis, known for their penchant for food and everything related, had a ball of a time on Sunday at the BYOB (Bring Your Own Belly) event, hosted in Hitex Grounds. The day-long event was nothing short of a dream come true for any foodie. Loaded with every possible nick-knack, the venue was filled with food-enthusiasts making the most out of what was on the offer from food trucks, stalls selling tacos, shawarmas, kababs, biriyani to ice creams and golas.
And for the ardent food enthusiasts who wanted to up their skills, a culinary workshop by Chef Bhakti Arora (MasterChef India Season 4 Runner Up) was organised. At the workshop, she taught the participants about healthy food and no bake desserts amongst others. As the sun set, the vibes got more interesting at the grounds, with the audience grooving to live music by the city’s local bands. “I am totally in love with what all are on offer here, specially the live coun
ters,” says Sayoni, who came with her husband. For six-year-old Rehan, it was the flavourful golas which he took fancy in and is all geared up for the next season.
