Road safety is a big issue and dealing with drunk drivers and their tantrums is very troublesome for traffic police when people fail to abide by the law. Bengaluru police however decided to make people aware through means that most people wouldn’t expect – social media. The posts and tweets by the Bengaluru Police are so funny and innovative that they are now going viral.

According to a media report, Bengaluru City Police has taken a different route to deal with their traffic and road issues by using Twitter to make people aware of the importance of safety rules. Their twitter page, which now has over six lakh followers constantly tweets about safety to people and is also on all social media platforms including Instagram most recently. The department’s tweets have become quite popular among the youth are also liking the initiative taken by the officials.
