A McDonald’s drive-thru worker was able to save the life of an off-duty police officer thanks to his quick thinking. Pedro Viloria’s efforts not only saved the customer’s life but also that of her two young children.

According to Viloria, the woman along with her two children had ordered and paid for their food without any problem but things took an unexpected turn when he returned to the window with their food.  “I see she's like inflating her neck, like trying to breathe, like 'ahh,' and basically I thought something was going wrong,” Viloria was quoted by Local10 as saying.

He immediately jumped inside the car as the woman’s foot slipped off the brake and prevented the vehicle from crashing into another automobile. She was later revived after first responders performed CPR on her.
