Video: Man fights off 10-foot ferocious shark in dangerous tug-of-war
The Aussie fisherman was fishing for snappers off the coast of Port Pirie when the shark caught the net
Sailing in the seas can be quite difficult if you are in an area populated with sharks because they are unpredictable creatures. Recently, an Australian fisherman fought off an eager hungry shark to free his fishing net while at sea off the coast.
According to a media report, Aussie fisherman David Wilks was fishing for snapper off the coast of Port Pirie with his son when a shark caught their net in the middle of sea. The shark however turned out to be a tough nut and didn’t leave the net even after the fisherman tried to shake it off. The 10-foot shark held on to the net even after the Aussie fisherman poked the nose as the battle went on for over 17 seconds with the 300-kg fish.
The viral video was shot by the 46-year-old’s son Nic during the tug-of-war and has now almost got 22,000 views on Youtube since it was posted yesterday.
