As individuals, we are all seeking happiness and a deeper meaning in life and the journey through these classes has also helped them practice what they learn. Your outlook on life changes when you recognise that role your mind plays, as Sonia Thomas, a Commerce postgraduate says, “Philosophy is an invigorating study. It has changed the way I approach problems in my life. I believe that at any point of time most of us have similar issues. Philosophy gives you a better understanding of life from a wholesome perspective and has changed the way I think.”

Suchita Tikrey, a teacher of this Philosophy course at a renowned non-profit cultural assosciation in the city says, “People are seeking for something sustainable and deeper in the material world.  This school of Philosophy draws from ancient traditions. It not meant for just intellectual gratification but it’s a way to see life and live better. We should be able to apply these teachings of Philosophy to our real lives and this is the purpose of the classes.”

A holistic approach to Philosophy has helped its students benefit from it by being able to apply it in their everyday lives. Chandini Harlalka an expressive art therapist says, “These classes feel like a community because we all practice what we learn. It feels like a larger cause. There is a need among people to gain a higher understanding of their conscious. You begin to live what you believe through Philosophy. Suresh Krishnan, an IT consultant says, “We get caught up in this world and don’t pay time to our mental state of mind.
