Video: Man in China narrowly escapes burning building unharmed

In a desperate attempt to save his life, a man in China tried to escape a roaring fire that erupted his building by climbing out of a window 15 floors high.

Video shared by The Shanghaiist on Twitter, showed the man hanging from the window of his apartment in the city of Chongqing.

However, his daring move almost cost him his life as he couldn’t break open a window below his floor to make his escape.

Witnesses said rescuers arrived on the scene farley quickly, according to media report.

Thankfully, he escaped unharmed.
