Weeks of rainfall in Peru have caused several floods and mudslides that have killed 67 people, but the footage showing a 32-year-old woman fighting her way out of a mudslide, that swept away everything from houses to animals, is nothing short of inspiring.
The woman named Evangelina Chamorro Diaz was caught in a whirlpool, but survived with minor injuries. The footage has gone viral as people praised the woman all over the world.
