Video: Volunteers teach Yoga to homeless people in Brazil for free

More than 60 people regularly attend these classes which are held around thrice a week.

The ancient practice of yoga is known for helping people de-stress and live healthier lives. Many people from disadvantaged sections of society do not have any access to facilities like yoga classes but a group of volunteers in Brazil are making commendable efforts to change that.

This group in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, hold free yoga classes for the homeless on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Andre Pereira, who is one of the volunteer instructors, told AJ+ that teaching the homeless is a wonderful experience because they happen to “live in such harsh situations”.
