The attitude of society towards differently abled has often been a cause for concern, with people at times displaying utter disregard for people with certain medical conditions.

In a similar show of insensitivity, a woman on a flight from Ibiza to Manchester abused a couple an their daughter and asked them to “shut that child up”.

Eight-year-old Yasmin is battling Sturge-Weber Syndrome, and has gone through 50 general anaesthetics, and has also undergone a surgery to reduce 200 seizures a day. But on the flight, Yasmin had a meltdown, and started crying as she was later rushed to the hospital when her lips turned blue.

But while those watching could clearly tell something was wrong with the child and abusive woman screamed at the family and calked them “pr**ks” for not keeping the child quiet.

The mother named Nicola Colenso decided to address the issue and shame the woman on Facebook, she wrote, "Dear lady on the Manchester-bound flight from Ibiza yesterday! We are sorry our daughter stopped you from getting your beauty sleep but clearly she was having a meltdown and was not feeling 100 per cent."

She also added a photo of the woman, who berated the couple in front of their four children, as the post has been shared thousands of times. Colenso added, "We were really shocked by the way she spoke to us. It was horrible. It was clear to anyone who looked that something wasn't right with Yasmin. But even after explaining it to her calmly and politely, she gave no consideration to this."

Sturge-Weber Syndrome is a condition which affects the eyes, skin and brain, which can also cause glaucoma and seizures.
