Video: Sachin Tendulkar posts glimpses of traffic cops working amid heavy rains

Mumbai has been facing heavy rains since the weekend which has caused traffic in the city to go haywire. During such chaotic times, the role played by authorities to ensure order on the streets often gets ignored by the common man.

But while Mumbaikars try to dodge rains, traffic cops in the city are busy making sure that jams on the roads are averted and commuters in the financial capital don’t have to deal with a mess.

Sachin Tendulkar may have retired from the pitch, but he is now batting for the dedicated souls handling traffic. He posted a video with clippings of traffic police personnel doing their jobs during heavy rains at different locations.

While the police force has a bad name due to corruption and police brutality, a video about a Haryana cop doing his job in rains and now this one by Sachin reminds people of the dedication that many have towards their work.

The Mumbai police department also responded to this gesture by Sachin.
