Guntur MP Jayadev Galla turns 50, big bash in Tokyo
The Guntur MP has flown around 60 people including stars, family and friends to Japan for his fiftieth.
Guntur MP Jayadev Galla will be celebrating his 50th birthday on Thursday in Tokyo. The businessman-politician, brother-in-law of superstar Mahesh Babu is hosting a party for family and close friends in Tokyo, and nearly 60 people including film stars, politicians and family have left for Japan on Monday night.
“En route Japan! Will connect from another time zone soon,” tweeted actor Rana Daggubati. Sudhir Babu too is joining the bash.
Superstar Mahesh Babu and wife Namrata were also invited but they couldn’t make it because Mahesh is in the final stages of wrapping up his upcoming film Brahmotsavam. Jay Galla’s sons Ashok and Siddharth and executives of his company Amar Raja Battery have also flown to Japan.
The celebrations will continue for a few days as the entourage will only return on the 29th. “After a long time, Jay Galla is throwing a big party. Of late, he has been maintaining a low profile,” says a source.
Jay Galla, until a few years ago — much before he became an MP — was a party animal. He has plenty of friends and his social circle includes the who’s who of Hyderabad and Chennai.
Among his friends, we hear Vishwas Raju and Rajiv Mallu, among others, have also flown with him to Japan.
