Blood donor honoured

Sam Chandran has been donating his blood four times every year for a long, long time. Eighty times in all by now. Recognising the good deed, he has been honoured with the Ambedkar Highest Excellent Award, by the Ambedkar Education Foundation and Lord Budha Universal Society for his social commitment.

An employee of Terumo Penpol — Sr. Executive (I&D), Sam has been involved in promoting blood donation activites, organising camps and arranging blood for people for emergencies. Sam received the award at a function recently from K. Jayakumar IAS, former chief secretary of Kerala and vice chancellor of the Malayalam University.
