Recently, Dandapani conducted a workshop for EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) on harnessing the power of the mind to cultivate concentration to achieve one's goals more effectively, and learning to manage one's energy to optimise busy people who are facing hectic schedules.

EO Global has more than 14,000 members around the world, with over 193 chapters in 60 countries. EO's Chennai chapter was one of the first to be formed in India, and was established in 2000 by 5 like-minded entrepreneurs. It has now grown into a 98-member strong chapter, with members coming from diverse backgrounds and running a variety of businesses.

Dandapani is a Hindu priest, entrepreneur and a former monk of 10 years. After graduating from university with a degree in Electrical Engineering he left it all behind to become a Hindu monk under the guidance of one of Hinduism's foremost spiritual leaders of our time, Sivaya Subramuniyaswami.

The New York-based international speaker gained the tools and teachings that he now shares with people worldwide in his successful career in the personal and professional empowerment sector.

“I educate the minds to concentrate and make it powerful that leads you to face the struggles in a business. According to me, multi-tasking doesn't exist; it's always one by one at a time. We have to concentrate one work at a time and finish it on the go,” says Dandapani.

Steeped in ancient Hindu traditions and tailored to meet the needs of modern achievers, his approach is practical and motivational, geared towards entrepreneurs who want to create and maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing their targets.

“Stress and anxiety are the common issues for businessmen, I teach them to be focused forgetting their family conflicts and thus reduce the stress when they start working,” he explains.

Addressing the business of profit and loss issues, Dandapani says, “Ups and downs are very common in life as well. It is difficult for a child to walk for the first time. But when the child grows, he/she will understand that around 7.6 billion people in the world walk like him/her.”

In addition to a popular online presence, he has held events for Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Nike, Trivago, Fortress Investment Group, Xero and numerous other companies.

Dandapai feels that smart phones are used in a wrong perspective. “People are becoming a slave to the smart phone culture. There are lots of other ways to use a smart phone. For instance, I can talk to my family in America in just 2 minutes, before 20 years there was no such thing. Likewise businessmen can communicate to the 130 countries for their business deals,” he elucidates.

His mission is to help people live a life of purpose and joy by empowering them with tools and teachings that have been used by Hindu monks of his tradition for thousands of years.

His TEDx talk has over 2.9 million views and both his GoalCast videos garnered over a total of 75 million views in just five months.

He and his wife are also passionately creating a 33-acre Hindu spiritual sanctuary and botanical garden in Costa Rica to further their mission. “Protecting the environment is very essential for our minds; it is good for the humans. I'm building a temple in Costa Rica to make an impact of human life to live in the environment,” concludes Dandapani.
