Bobby Deol may have irked club-goers but he seems to be a favourite on Twitter
Even as his 'Gupt' weapon misfired, it brought him back in the spotlight after years.
When Bobby Deol decided to turn DJ after years of absence from the silver screen, little did he know that making people move to your tunes is no cakewalk. This is something he discovered the hard way when his attempt at mesmerising Delhi’s young and energetic crowd with tunes from his debut Bollywood film Gupt, badly backfired.
When Deccan Chronicle first carried the news of the crowd at a Delhi night club asking for refund after Bobby’s ‘Gupt’ weapon misfired, even we didn’t expect that it would get an overwhelming response from netizens, who revealed how Bobby was still in their heart despite disappearing from the big screen.
Twitter, a space which has seen people coming together in celebration and outrage, witnessed the resurrection of Bobby Deol in the media after more than a decade, as tweeples did not lose the opportunity to voice witty comments on Bobby’s unfortunate night out.

Well #BobbyDeol was a rage in 90s, when Salman,SRK or Aamir had pathetic sense of fashion, his long hair & torn jeans were rage in youth.

I would've asked for it had he NOT played Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela.

While the crowd that night might have disliked Bobby’s tracks, he seems to be the favourite of Twitter trolls after Shobha De.
