A Chinese ad has sparked off a furore across media platforms owing to its content. The ad has catapulted racism to a notch higher.

In the video, a girl is seen endorsing a detergent named Qiaobi which claims to wash off dirt with a mere few drops of the powder. To accentuate the claims put forth in the ad, a black man enters the scene.

The girl applies the washing powder on his face, following which he gets inside the washing machine. In a jiffy, an Asian man is seen coming out of the machine after, gawking at his body colour, astounded by the sudden change he has gone through.

The video in its bid to back its claim has gone overboard.
