A white tiger at a zoo in Udaipur is giving trainers a tough time as it cannot understand instructions in any other language except Tamil. Five-year-old Rama from Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Chennai was shifted to the Sajjangarh Biological Park in Udaipur as part of an animal exchange program.

As Rama was raised in Chennai, he apparently understands directions only in Tamil. This has caused problems for his new zookeepers who primarily speak in Mewari.

It looks like that the zoo authorities are faced with two choices: either the trainers learn Tamil or try teaching the tiger Mewari. According to local reports the zoo is already planning to employ a Tamil-speaking trainer to work with Rama.
