Tough time ahead for KCR
DOB: 17-02-1954
Birth star: Aslesha
Raasi: Karkataka
Saivaagama Jyothishya Pandit, Kantamraju Sai Babu Sarma predicts that the Telangana caretaker CM K. Chandrashekar Rao might encounter a tough time at the hustings. “KCR could be a strong man, but according to his horoscope, his birth star is Aslesha and Karkataka Raasi. The moola devata for this birth star is Sarpamu (snake). Although his intentions might be right, people may misapprehend him. His current planetary movements indicate that he’s undergoing Rahu mahadasa and Kethu is anthardasha. This might result in issues related to power and health soon,” Kantamraju believes.

Naidu will be a force to reckon with
DOB: 20-04-1950
Birth star: Krittika
Raasi: Vrushaba
Interestingly, good times might beckon Chandrababu Naidu who is trying to revive his party in Telangana. Srividya Upasak and renowned astrologer Mantha Surya Narayana Sarma envisages a raja yogam for the AP Chief Minister.
“Chandrababu Naidu’s birth star is Krittika and Raasi is Vrushaba and Mithuna lagna. His planetary movements signify he has raja yogam. He has Pancha maha purusha yogam, and in that, he has Sasa yoga and Malavya yoga. This will start from December 10, and will stay for around four years. So he will soon become a force to reckon with in Telangana.”

The dark horse is Uttam Kumar Reddy
DOB: 20-06-1962
Birth star: Uttarashada
Raasi: Makara
The planetary movements of Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy indicate that he may have an outside chance of a victory. Says astrologer Lanka Narayana Sastry, “The birth star of Uttam Kumar Reddy is Uttarashada. And his Guru is in Rahu. However, since Guru is the dominant player, Uttam could move into a better position.”

K.T. Rama Rao could be the winner
DOB: 24-07-1976
Birth star: Mrugasira
Raasi: Midhuna
Unlike his father KCR, things are looking bright for Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao. His horoscope foretells that he could emerge winner, despite a couple of stumbling blocks. Kantamraju says, “KTR’s birth star is Mrugasira and his raasi is Midhuna. According to his horoscope, the Kandaya Phalalu (prospects) towards the end of the year is very bright and this can assure him success. He has Shani Mahadasa and Budha Anthardasa; the latter has the ability to make historic decisions that can take the state to the next level.”

No planetary support for Revanth Reddy
DOB: 08-11-1969
Birth star: Chitta
Raasi: Tula
Even though Revanth Reddy comes across as a very vocal, strong leader, he is going through Sani Mahadasa, so times are not believed to be encouraging they point towards psychological pressures and health related issues. According to astrologer Greenstone Lobo, “Revanth Reddy might do well individually but his planetary charts don’t support him being a CM candidate. They are very weak,” explains Lobo.

‘Predictions are baseless’: Dr. Sankaramanchi Ramakrishna Sastry
Panchanga karta and Siddhanti Dr. Sankaramanchi Ramakrishna Sastry rubbishes all these astrological predictions. He asks astrologers on how can they predict the fortunes without knowing the exact time of birth of these leaders. “The date and time of birth of many leaders available in the Internet may not be exact. I guess it is available only with their trusted astrologers and seers. Since the time of birth indicates accurate planetary movements, it is very difficult to predict without it. And I am surprised to know how astrologers are making predictions,” he wonders. Sastry adds, “In 2004, I predicted that Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy will become the CM for United AP. And that’s because I had the exact date and time of birth.”

‘Believe in Psephology’: C.S. Rangarajan
Chilkur Balaji temple priest, C.S. Rangarajan too describes these predictions as baseless. Instead, he urges the leaders to believe in hard work and Psephology. “I want the leaders to understand the religious sentiments of the people. I want them to revive ancient temples and uphold our culture system, beliefs and dialects. I guess such moves will earn them enough vote bank.” Recalling an incident, Rangarajan adds, “When Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy came to Chilukuru in 2003, we asked him to include ‘reviving old temples’ in their manifesto, and this will make him come into power. He indeed was sworn in as the CM in united AP in 2004, and later, amended the endowment legislation.”
