Heterosexual Pride Day irks people after trending on Twitter

Members of the Twitterati are having a whale of a time trolling folks who just don't seem to get it.

Even as the LGBT Pride Month wraps up, the hashtag #HeterosexualPrideDay has taken over Twitter once again. In case you don’t know, this particular hashtag always manages to surface on social media around the end of June for the past few years. Members of the LGBT community and their allies have noted this as a tactic to undermine LGBT voices.

The importance of Pride Month for the LGBT community especially in the light of the recent tragic event in Orlando has led many people to voice their objections to this new ‘holiday’. So, members of the Twitterati are having a whale of a time trolling folks who just don’t seem to get it.
