So dream on, child!
Like Eleanor Roosevelt famously said, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
Within the confines of our minds, where we are in rhythm with the universe, we understand ourselves and what our dreams are — we want to achieve them and experience what it feels to live them. Someone may dream of becoming rich, another of travelling the world; while a techie may want to develop a unique technology to benefit mankind, a young girl may dream of scaling the highest mountain — every dream is different and special.
On the way to making one’s dreams come true, there are several obstacles on the path. Many succumb to negative thoughts and bury their dreams beneath responsibilities, preconceived notions, customs and traditions and societal pressure. They end up living life with an immense sense of defeat. For those who forge ahead to fulfill their dreams, life presents yet another dilemma. On the journey to success, one often feels that achieving one’s dream is being selfish. Many a times, it is said that one’s dreams alienate one’s loved ones too — do not succumb to this misconception. Loved ones will always set you free.
In the pursuit of your dreams, undoubtedly, you will face many challenges, crises and setbacks. This is normal and it will help you grow as a strong-willed individual. Believe that the problem is short-lived and keep going ahead.
