The internet is going crazy about the Japanese song 'Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen'

A video of a moustached man dressed in gold and animal print and singing about pens, pineapples, and apples to a catchy electric beat has captured the imaginations of netizens round the world.

The song, featuring DJ Kosaka Daimaou as the fictional character Piko-Taro, has already garnered more than 11 million views because of its insanely catchy tune. The lyrics of the song go something like this:

"I have a pen. I have an apple. Apple-pen!
