Apparently, something as innocent as taking selfies can warrant attacks from ferocious beasts if one takes a look at a recent video gone viral. A scary-looking gorilla was caught on camera trying to attack a zoo visitor who just wanted to take a selfie.

The footage shows the huge ape hurling himself at the unaware man who was luckily separated from it by a thick glass wall. The incident, which occurred at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska a few days ago, involved the playful but intimidating silverback gorilla called Kijito.

There have been alarming reports about the same gorilla having also broken a window at the zoo last year. Surprisingly enough, the man in the video appears unfazed by the failed but threatening attack.
