Ethiopian Airlines showcases service network linking India
HYDERABAD: Ethiopian Airlines hosted a seminar for its travel partners in India. Acknowledged as the largest aviation group in Africa, the airline showcased its service network across India and multiple destinations in Africa, the Americas and Europe.
The airline said it operates to 130 plus international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents. It claimed an average growth of 25 per cent in the seven years prior to Covid-19.
Addissu Ermias, traffic and sales manager, south India, while thanking the travel fraternity present, said, “After humble beginnings, Ethiopian Airlines is now Africa’s most profitable air carrier, which also enjoys a 4-star certification. We have initiated Vision 2035 for the growth of our network.”
Srinivasan Jayaseelan, regional manager, south India, STIC GSA, took the audience through the history of the airlines and aspects like hospitality and visa.
Anju Wariah, director, group business development, STIC Travel Group, said, “Hyderabad has always been welcoming. Our tie-up with Vistara and Air India provides seamless connectivity from Hyderabad to Bengaluru.”
Surabhi Rana, assistant general manager, airline marketing, Bangalore International Airport Limited, highlighted the regional connectivity of the Kempe Gowda airport at Bengaluru.
