Indian envoy reaches Pakistan

Mr Bambawale said he would make all efforts to strengthen the relations between the Asian neighbours.

Islamabad: New Indian ambassador Gautam Bambawale arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday with a message of peace and friendship.

On his arrival in Lahore through the Wagah Border, the Indian high commissioner said he will work towards improvement in Indo-Pak relations. He said he will play role of a “bridge” between the countries.

Earlier, before his departure from New Delhi, Mr Bambawale said he would make all efforts to strengthen the relations between the Asian neighbours.
