Tirupati:  Former minister and Telugu Desam candidate from Atmakur assembly constituency Anam Ramanarayana Reddy accused government officials of acting on diktats of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy during the May 13 general elections.

Addressing media in Nellore on Friday, he pointed out that the Election Commission of India had transferred a large number of IAS, IPS and other officials for acting in favour of the ruling party during the election period.
“It is for the first time in country's history that such a thing has happened,” the former minister remarked.
With regard to his Atmakur constituency, he accused the district administration of failing to make proper security arrangements at booth numbers 1 to 10 in Marripadu mandal, which is known for its "bomb culture." This led to YSRC cadres and Mekapati family indulging in several election irregularities, he charged.
However, Ramanarayana Reddy exuded confidence about his victory in Atmakur as well as the NDA alliance’s victory in the state. “The yellow flag will fly all across the state on June 4 when results are announced,” he declared.
