Vijayawada: Eighth additional district court held hearing on the bail plea of the main accused, Satish Kumar, in a stone-pelting case on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Monday and reserved the order.

The main accused Satish Kumar’s counsel Abdus Saleem argued that the police found no evidence of the main accused’s involvement in the case and arrested him based on his custodial statement. He further argued that the custodial statement of the accused was not valid as per certain provisions of the relevant law.

After hearing both parties, the court reserved the order, and it is likely to be pronounced on Tuesday.
