Cattle washed away in flash floods reach ashore
Adilabad: A large number of cattle that were washed away in flash floods on Friday, swam to safety in the Peddavagu river at Andevelli in Kagaznagar mandal in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
The cattle were crossing the river when they were caught in the flash floods. A video on the cattle swimming in the river went viral on social media. The grazers who were trying hard to save the herd heaved a sigh of relief when the cattle reached ashore.
On the other hand, villagers were seen fishing in flood waters when the Navedhari tank was overflowing in Wankidi mandal in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
Rain struck various places in the district, resulting in overflowing of streams and rivulets in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
