City police begins process to dispose unclaimed vehicles

Hyderabad:Hyderabad city police will conduct a public auction to dispose of 1,087 abandoned / unclaimed vehicles of various types and makes as empowered under section 7 of Hyderabad (Metropolitan Area) Police Act 2004 read with Section 40 of HCP Act.

Any person having any objection or ownership / hypothecation interest in any of these vehicles may submit an application before the commissioner of police, ICCC, Banjara Hills, to claim the vehicle within a period of six months from the date of proclamation, failing which the vehicles will be auctioned, C. V. Anand, city police commissioner, said.

Details of the vehicles are available with the auction team located at SAR CPL police ground, behind police hospital, Amberpet, Hyderabad. They are also available on the official website of Hyderabad City Police i.e..www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in, the commissioner said.
