Jawaharnagar Police Register Case Against Five for Blocking Demolition

Hyderabad: The Jawaharnagar police on Tuesday registered a case against five persons for allegedly obstructing revenue and HYDRAA officials from demolishing illegal structures built on notary land at Devendranagar. The complaint was lodged by Suchitra, MRO, revenue department. The five were absconding, said Jawaharnagar SHO Saidaiyya.

Man Held for Stealing 18.1 Tola of Gold in Shadnagar

Hyderabad: The Shadnagar police arrested Shiva Prasad for breaking into the house of Srinivas Reddy and stealing about 18.1 tola of gold. The theft occurred at around 3 pm on Monday, when the complainant was away at work.

Three Arrested for Autorickshaw Theft in Madhuranagar

Hyderabad: Madhuranagar police arrested Kallyam Venkatesh, Pamula Raju and Turpati Srisailam for the theft of six autorickshaws. Police were investigating a complained lodged by D. Shiva Krishna of Yadagirinagar, and nabbed the trio at the Yousufguda.

Hyderabad Reporter Arrested for Extorting Builders

Hyderabad: Police arrested Jangala Nagarjuna, said to be a reporter, for extorting builders. Another reporter, Batini Suman, is at large. KPHB sub-inspector Lingam said the complaint was lodged by contractor Pavan Kumar.
