Police arrested Kukkala Vidyasagar in actress harassment case

Vijayawada:Police arrested the prime accused and YSRC leader Kukkala Vidyasagar on Friday in connection with the Bollywood actress Kadambari Jethwani harassment case. According to a release issued by NTR district commissioner of police S. V. Rajasekhar Babu, the police took the accused Vidyasagar into custody at a private resort in Dehradun of Uttarakhand on Wednesday.

The police produced the accused in the 3rd Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Dehradun and shifting him to Vijayawada on a transit warrant, to produce him in a Vijayawada court. Based on a complaint lodged by the actress on September 13, the Ibrahimpatnam police registered a case under sections 192, 211, 218, 220, 354(D), 467, 420, 469, 471 r/w 120 (B) of IPC against the accused and others and launched a probe.
