Kakinada:The Palakoderu police will refer to the acid case involving a man as "false". According to Palakoderu police, Jayakrishna, a sales manager at a cloth shop in Bhimavaram, had formed a friendship with a young woman from Vijayawada. Jayakrishna lent her money, which she failed to repay despite several reminders. After pressuring her, Jayakrishna was invited to a school in Palakoderu, where the woman, disguised in a burkha, attempted to pour acid on him. However, he escaped unharmed. The incident took place on November 6, but Jayakrishna lodged his complaint with the police recently.

Palakoderu sub-inspector said that the young woman filed a complaint against Jayakrishna in Vijayawada. After learning of the criminal case filed against him, Jayakrishna lodged his own complaint at Palakoderu police station, which will be referred to as "false."
