Hyderabad:The KPHB police on Wednesday registered a case against a company for allegedly involving in the conversion of international VoIP calls into domestic telephone calls, bypassing the international long distance (ILD) gateway.

According to the police, they received a complaint from Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, represented by LS Pavan Kumar, in which he stated that the telecom major had provided an SIP connection to RB Technologies at Kukatpally.

On December 3, the department of telecom’s licenced service area (LSA) unit of AP notified RJIL that RB Technologies was suspected of operating an illegal telephone exchange.
