Woman Dies After Being Hit by Lorry

Hyderabad:A 35-year-old woman, who was returning home after dropping her children at school, was hit by a lorry and died on the spot near HMT Kaman, Nacharam at 8.30 am on Wednesday.

According to Nacharam inspector G. Rudvir Kumar, the woman was on a two-wheeler and was going towards Habsiguda when the lorry hit her. The deceased has been identified as Geeta, a resident of Nallakunta.

The victim’s body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination. Based on the complaint by Geeta's husband Vijay, the lorry driver Narsaiah, 32, a resident of Cherlapally, was booked.
