Hyderabad excise police destroy drugs worth ₹1.75 crore

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad excise police destroyed drugs worth Rs 1.75 crore on Saturday at a government-approved facility in Shadnagar. Destroyed were 621 kg of ganja, 101 kg of poppy straw, 0.4 kg of bhang, 46 grams of MDMA, and 108 LSD tablets, seized during 187 cases registered at three excise police stations, Dhoolpet, Nampally, and Musheerabad.

The exercise carried out under the directions of excise deputy commissioner K.A.B. Shastri, was overseen by deputy disposal commissioner Mohan Babu. Director, enforcement, Kamalasan Reddy lauded the efforts of the excise personnel.
