Hyderabad: Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, heading the Judicial Commission probing irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, met on Wednesday with representatives from Navayuga, Afcons, and L&T, the companies that built the Sundilla, Annaram, and Medigadda barrages of the Kaleshwaram project.

It is learnt that the interactions included briefings from the companies on the construction of the project, how they followed instructions from the irrigation department and the state government, and the current stage of monsoon flood protection repair works at the barrages.

Justice Ghose is said to have instructed the companies to file their depositions in writing and submit affidavits by June 26. Once the affidavits are reviewed, anyone required for questioning on issues brought to light in these documents will be summoned, Justice Ghose reportedly said.
